Homepage Evolution

As one of Pluralsight's highest-traffic experiences, the homepage needed to continuously evolve alongside the business. Over the course of two years, it supported three major initiatives: introducing a new strategic messaging framework, launching a company-wide rebrand, and ultimately repositioning the experience from an individual learner focus to an enterprise-first strategy.

Rather than approaching these as isolated redesigns, our goal was to evolve the homepage incrementally—ensuring each iteration aligned with changing business priorities while maintaining a familiar and intuitive experience for returning visitors.

Establishing a Strategic Foundation

2025 homepage

The 2025 homepage was built around Pluralsight's newly established messaging framework, creating a clear narrative that communicated our value proposition before asking users to explore the platform. The experience emphasized four key pillars:

  • World-Class Authors
Our instructors are one of Pluralsight's strongest differentiators. With an author acceptance rate below 6%, the homepage positioned them as trusted experts and the foundation of our learning experience.

  • Comprehensive Tech Content
The page clearly communicated our core technology domains—including AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Software Development—helping visitors quickly understand the breadth of our catalog.

  • Hands-On Learning
Interactive labs and sandboxes demonstrated how learners could safely practice real-world skills instead of relying solely on video content.

  • Skill Assessments
Skill assessments highlighted our ability to help learners identify knowledge gaps and build personalized learning paths.

Bringing the Rebrand to Life

Following Pluralsight's rebrand, the homepage received a comprehensive visual refresh. While much of the content strategy remained unchanged, the updated experience introduced the new color palette, lighter-weight typography, and refreshed visual language across the site.

Supporting the "Tap In" Campaign

Temporary homepage takeover

To support the launch of Pluralsight's "Tap In" campaign, we temporarily transformed the homepage hero to mirror the campaign's visual identity and messaging. Extending the campaign across our highest-traffic digital experience created a more cohesive brand journey and reinforced a consistent message across television, digital, social, and web.

Pivoting to Enterprise

B2B strategy shift

Midway through 2026, Pluralsight made a strategic shift from focusing on individual learners to prioritizing enterprise customers. Rather than messaging around career advancement and personal skill development, the homepage needed to speak to decision-makers evaluating learning solutions for their organizations.

This wasn't simply a messaging update—it required rethinking how information was organized and presented so enterprise buyers could quickly understand Pluralsight's value proposition.

Reimagining the Navigation

The first step was redesigning the global navigation. Previously organized around business units, the new navigation reflected the priorities of enterprise buyers by emphasizing our platform differentiators, business solutions, and customer outcomes. Content for individual learners remained available but was intentionally deprioritized to better align with the company's evolving strategy.

With the navigation serving as a new information architecture, we used it as the blueprint for the homepage redesign.

Rather than organizing the page around products, the experience now guided visitors through the questions enterprise buyers were most likely asking during their evaluation:

  • What makes Pluralsight different?

  • Which business challenges can it solve?

  • What technical domains does it support?

  • Why do leading organizations trust it?

By aligning both the navigation and homepage around the enterprise buyer journey, the experience shifted from promoting individual learning paths to communicating business value—better supporting Pluralsight's long-term strategic direction.
